Prior to becoming a real estate sales person Nichole working for over 15 years in the hospitality industry. Roles included executing 1000 person events on lavish NYC yachts to opening director of sales for major hotel chains in New York City & New Jersey.
She is a dedicated volunteer of local organizations including the Downtown West Orange Alliance.
Nichole and her husband have been residents of West Orange for over 8 years and are proud fur parents to their cockapoo Mocha.
Joy is the Owner and Executive Director of The Kids Palace II Daycare and Learning Center in West Orange, NJ, a high-quality early childhood center dedicated to serving local families with excellence. Under her leadership, the center focuses on nurturing young learners through high-quality care and early education programs.
With extensive experience in the field of early childhood education, Joy also serves as a Child Development Associate (CDA) instructor at Union College of County College and is Owner and Head Instructor of ECE Training Consultants, a company that provides CDA training and professional development for early childhood educators.
In addition to her Chamber responsibilities, Joy is an Active Board Member of the West Orange High School (CTE) Early Childhood Advisory Committee and a member of the Childcare Advisory Council (CAC) for Programs for Parents, where she contributes her expertise to shape and strengthen the future of early education in New Jersey.
Her work is rooted in a deep passion for empowering children, families, and educators through education, advocacy, and meaningful community partnerships.
Family-oriented and community-focused, Tammy Williams brings over 20 years of experience as a Top Producing Real Estate Broker. With a Master of Business Administration in Public Administration from Northcentral University and a Bachelor of Science in the Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Tammy is passionate about positive change and community well-being. She was elected in 2020 as the first Black Councilwoman in West Orange and completed her term as serving as the first Black Councilwoman President. She founded the West Orange Suicide Advocacy Coalition (WOSAC) to prevent suicide and promote mental health, organizing initiatives like the annual 5K Run/Walk. Tammy also serves on local boards, contributing to community development. As the proud mother of children educated in the West Orange School District, Tammy’s personal values drive her commitment to building a stronger West Orange. She believes that together, ‘Everything Is Possible!’ Tammy Williams is a symbol of unity and continued hope for our West Orange future.

of the board of the Chamber, she is also a member of the board of trustees and Tenant Liaison to the John
P. Renna Senior Building; Membership Chair for the West Orange African Heritage Organization; advisor to
the West Orange Arts Council; and, her favorite role of them all, Band Mom!
Along with her community work, Nicol is a self-employed, business owner who truly embodies the phrase,
“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” She refers to herself as a “Succession
Specialist” and thoroughly enjoys helping guide families through the many long-term care and estate
planning issues that arise during life’s transitions, including right-sizing into new spaces.
Through her role as an Elder Law and Estate Planning attorney, Nicol helps her clients develop
comprehensive estate plans that include Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directives and
Trusts. She also assists with estate administration, guardianships, advises clients on long-term care
planning (including Medicaid planning), and files Medicaid applications.
Through her role as a real estate agent, Nicol educates and guides clients through the whole process,
beginning with preparing their homes for sale, properly pricing and marketing their home, attracting
buyers and accepting the right offer. She then remains hands-on, helping her clients through the sale
process and onto a successful close.
Nicol’s diverse experience in law, financial services and real estate, along with her passion for supporting
and advocating for seniors, has taught her that advanced preparation is key to keeping anxiety and conflict
at a minimum during times of stress or crisis. She shares that message with her clients as she takes care to
understand their unique circumstances, explain their options, and provide the advice and guidance they
need to feel empowered to make the best decisions for their families.
When she’s not working or serving others, Nicol enjoys theatre, live music and art exhibits. She also likes
to cook and host fun events for her family and friends. Most of all, Nicol loves God and being a mom to her
two wonderful children.
A lifelong West Orange resident, Maeghan is proud to serve on the West Orange Chamber of Commerce Board and support the community where she grew up. She also volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association, advocating for older adults and their families through education, outreach, and fundraising.
Maeghan proudly continues the legacy of her late father, who founded Right at Home of Essex County in 2004 following their family’s experience with Alzheimer’s disease.
